Welcome to Kids Rule Backdrops, where imagination comes to life!

Our journey began in 2020 during the challenging times of lockdown. With our original business, Kids Rule, we've been providing children's party equipment hire to the amazing general public for over 20 years. Along the way, we also explored the world of balloon supplies and discovered the growing popularity of organic balloon displays. People were drawn to these unique creations due to their cost-effectiveness and the scarcity and expense of helium.

During the lulls in our bookings, we carried out extensive research and identified a need for something special. That’s when Kids Rule Backdrops was born! We became one of the first suppliers in the UK to offer collapsible backdrop hoops and covers designed specifically for balloon professionals and party suppliers. Since then, we’ve expanded our range to include an extensive collection of backdrop-related items and accessories, making us your one-stop shop for all things backdrops.

We proudly design many of our own products, including our bespoke geometric stands, exclusive sequin stands (available in both small and dual-sized large options), and our large, sturdy balloon arches — all designed by us with professionals in mind. Every product in our range is created to be quick and easy to assemble, with no screws required during standard use (aside from an initial first-time setup where applicable). This ensures effortless setup, breakdown, storage, and transport — something we know is crucial when setup time at events is limited.

We’re also excited to now offer our new easy-install buckle clip sequin panels, available in a wide range of colours at highly competitive prices, allowing you to achieve a premium look in minimal time. As a business, we’re always on the lookout for new designs and innovative ideas to continually expand and improve our store.

We still haven’t forgotten our roots! We continue to offer services such as soft play equipment rentals, which are once again thriving.
