FAQ's
Q. How long will I need to wait for my order?
A. Many orders are sent out the same day and will be received on the next working day but there is no guarantee. If you do need an item for guaranteed next day please contact us beforehand and we may be able to arrange this for you. For non-stock items which are supplied or “made to order” we estimate up to 3 weeks. However, it is often sooner than that although again, there are no guarantees.
Q. Do you ship to any other countries besides the UK?
A. Yes we do! We regularly ship to the US and Canada and can provide prices in US$. Please email us at kidsrulebackdrops@gmail.com for further information. We can also deliver to other countries so let us know where you are and we may be able to help.
Q. If I am ordering from outside the UK who is responsible for any import/tax fees?
A. You, as the receiver will be responsible for any of the above fees. We will charge you shipping fees only with your order.
Q. I have my own hoop/frame and/or plinths/cake table, will your covers fit?
A. Our elasticated, shower cap style hoop covers can fit any brand of hoop but we also supply zipped covers for hoops which can only be guaranteed to fit our standard hoops. The zipped covers are a double layer of fabric, can be printed single sided or double sided and are zipped with a large industrial zip. Our plinth/cake table covers are also made for our standard size plinths but we can make to order for your own. Q. What are your covers made of and can they be washed?
A. Our covers are heavyweight 230gsm polyester with dye-sublimation print. Prints on our covers will not fade if washed inside out with mild/delicate liquid detergent on a quick warm or cool wash, no longer than 30 minutes or hand wash. If ironing is necessary, iron on a warm setting (not too hot!).
For metallic covers, in the first instance we recommend wiping any marks off with a damp cloth. If this does not work then either hand wash gently in warm water with detergent or machine wash for no more than 30 minutes on 30c cycle.
Q. I would like a design which you are not advertising or I would like a bespoke personalised design, can you make these to order?
A. Yes we can print many other designs and bespoke designs too with a supplemental charge to covers which we hold in stock. We also often have stock in which may not be advertised so if there's something you specifically need and you don't see us please reach out to us.
Q. Can you do glitter, shimmer or sequin covers?
A. We can produce glitter, shimmer or sequin EFFECT designs but they will be on exactly the same polyester material as with all of our covers. These covers may look fairly pixelated from close up but will have the effect of glitter etc. from afar and most definitely on photos.
Q. Can the frames be used outdoors?
A. Yes they can be used outdoors with covers but it is purely at your own risk/responsibility. We do encourage you to ensure that they are either tied to a secure object from behind or you use weights on the base. This is to err on the side of caution as especially in the UK we never know what the weather may have in store for us. Also using them in heavy rain will be at your own risk. Please also be aware of the chance of backdrop covers bleaching from strong sunlight.
Q. I have my own image/logo – will you be able to use this to produce a cover with a personalised image for me?
A. Most likely yes but it may depend on the file size and quality. Please email us at info@kidsrulebackdrops and share your file with us so that we can confirm if it can be used for printing.
